I bring more than 35 years of experience spanning semiconductor manufacturing, cleanroom infrastructure, capital projects, university research facilities and industry creation.
My career has been built at the point where technology, people and commercial outcomes meet. I am known for questioning convention, resolving complex problems and converting ambitious ideas into practical, deliverable programmes.
Today, I am focused on strengthening semiconductor capability in Australia and internationally—connecting government, industry, universities and global manufacturing partners around a shared path to execution.

Queensland Semiconductor Initiative
Created a commercial pathway for an Australian short-run semiconductor foundry and fabless design platform, building the strategy, partner network, investment case and sovereign capability proposition from the ground up.
Australian National Fabrication Facility — Queensland
Led a multidisciplinary advanced-technology operation, managed an $18.4 million budget, secured $2.2 million in expansion funding, doubled cleanroom capacity and grew the workforce by approximately 50%.
Griffith University / Queensland Microtechnology Facility
Connected research ambition with safe, reliable fabrication operations across micro- and nanotechnology infrastructure, specialist vacuum systems and industry-facing technical delivery.
Philips Semiconductors, United Kingdom
Progressed from time-served maintenance engineer to project and process leadership across three fabs, contributing to three cleanroom design programmes and leading complex equipment and capital delivery.

Led a US$125 million semiconductor capital programme from process-gap analysis and technical specification through cost-of-ownership evaluation, procurement, installation and operational integration.
Secured $2.2 million for an ANFF expansion, doubled cleanroom capacity and delivered the programme on time and within budget while maintaining operational continuity.
Founded QSI to bridge Australia’s gap between research and commercial semiconductor manufacture—uniting fabrication strategy, secure design pathways, international partners and workforce development.
